Nothing beats the Sydney fireworks crossed over the harbor for New Year’s Eve. There’s nothing else like it or in anywhere near competition. Dubai puts on quite a show, too, with the Burj Khalifa lighting up the night. For those staying close to home, there’s Times Square. I did it once. It was cold, but the energy was electric and well worth every second.
