It has long been a strategic location, as you’ll see from the remnants of German bunkers and castles dotted around the island.
This place is steeped in history, but it also feels timeless. Its rugged cliffs, gentle beaches, and cobblestone streets in St. Peter Port, Guernsey’s capital are astonishing.
Guernsey is perfect for beach lovers, history buffs, and outdoor enthusiasts.
The island has picturesque beaches like Cobo Bay and Petit Bot Bay, which I found perfect for a lazy day or a scenic walk.
For history enthusiasts, the Castle Cornet and Hauteville House (Victor Hugo’s old home!) are absolute must-sees.
